ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ, ಭಾರತ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡು ಬರುವ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ . ನಂದಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು, ಬನ್ನೇರುಘಟ್ಟ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಶ್ರೇಣಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾವೇರಿ ಕಣಿವೆ/ಸಂಗಮ ಪ್ರದೇಶವು ನಗರ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ (ಜನರಲ್ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ಆಫೀಸ್) ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಸುಮಾರು ೪೦ ಕಿಲೋಮೀಟರ್‌ಗಳಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿರುವ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ . ವಸಾಹತುಶಾಹಿ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಹವಾಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರವೇಶಸುವಿಕೆ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. [೧] ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯು ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ೧೯೯೪ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದ ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾಪಟ್ಟಿ ಆಧರಿಸಿದೆ.
