ಸೀರಿಯಮ್
ಸೀರಿಯಮ್ ಬೂದು ಬಣ್ಣದ ಮೂಲಧಾತು. ಇದು ಬಹಳ ಮೆದು ಲೋಹ.ಇದನ್ನು ೧೮೦೩ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲಾಯಿತು.ಇದು ವಿರಳ ಭಸ್ಮ (rare earth)ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಹೇರಳವಾಗಿ ದೊರೆಯುವ ಲೋಹವಾಗಿದೆ.ಇದರ ಆಕ್ಸೈಡ್ ನ್ನು ಗಾಜಿಗೆ ಹೊಳಪು ಕೊಡಲು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.[೧][೨]
