ನೀವು Wikipedia:Kannada Support ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಮಾಡಿದ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆ. ಅದರ ಧಾಟಿ ಬಹಳ ನಿಷ್ಟುರವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಅನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನುಷ್ಟು information ಸೇರಿಸೋಣವೆ ? How about including a separate section called "Problems with Mozilla on Linux" and including your text there?

Sure Sudarshan. I did not venture into that because that would give a negative impression on readers -- bad marketing.  ;-)

ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಗು ತೂರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವೆ ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ. ಹರಿ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ನೆಡುವೆ ಯಾವುದೊ ಸಣ್ಣ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ತಾಪವುಂಟಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾಸವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಕ್ರಮ ಹಾಗೂ ದೋರಣೆಗಳಿಂದ ನೋವು ಉಂಟಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಆದರೆ ಈ ವಿವಾದದಿಂದ ಅನಾವಶ್ಯಕವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಾಗು ಹರಿಪ್ರಸಾದರ ಸಮಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿಕಿಪೀಡಿಯದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಸರಿದು ನಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಕೆಲಸಗಳೆಡೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕುಳಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಬಗೆಹರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಉಚಿತ ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ. ಮಾತುಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಬಗೆಹರಿಸಬಹು ಅಂತರೆ ಜನ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಲು ನಾನು ಸಿದ್ದ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರು ಒಂದೆ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದವರು. ನಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬದಿಗೊತ್ತಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಧ್ಯೇಯದಡೆ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸುವುದು ಸೂಕ್ತವಲ್ಲವೆ? ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು ತಮಗೆ ಬೇಸರ ತಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ.

Chandrakanth, thanks for offering to pitch in. I agree with all that you say, and I agree that the goal should always be better Wikipedia. This is why I first approached HP Nadig wrt this problem. Even now, I am willing to discuss and arrive at a consensus. My contention is simple: (1) The guidelines text should be neutral, not biased, incomplete and an element of personal vengeance, (2) The page should be unprotected.

If HP Nadig does not agree with my substitute text and link, the section can be deleted - this also maintains neutrality. This is a compromise that I am willing to make.

Thank you again for your offer of mediation. If we can achieve this consensus and prevent hostilities, I would be glad. Apologies for not replying in Kannada, for technical reasons.
