Purpose

Provides an easy way to cite version 1.1 of The Plant List database (version is presently hard coded; this may change in the future).

Usage

id: The Plant List record id, the last part of the URL, following "record/"; e.g. http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl/record/tro-27800177
taxon: the name of the plant, will display in entirely in italics (will not work well with strings containing "var." and "subsp.")
authority: the nomenclatural authority, will display in standard type

Example
