ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿರಿಯಾಲಿಟಿ ಶೋ MTV ರೋಡೀಸ್ 4 ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಗುರ್ಬಾನಿ ತಮ್ಮ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮೊದಲನೇ ರನ್ನರ್ ಅಪ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು MTV ರೋಡೀಸ್ 5 ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಹಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಫಿಯರ್ ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರ್: ಖತ್ರೋನ್ ಕೆ ಖಿಲಾಡಿ 4 ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.[೨] MTV ಯಲ್ಲಿನ ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ, ಬಾನಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಭಿನಯವನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪರದೆಯವರೆಗೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.[೩] ಅವರು ತಿಕ್ಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆಪ್ ಕಾ ಸುರೂರ್ - ದಿ ರಿಯಲ್ ಲವ್ ಸ್ಟೋರಿ ಮುಂತಾದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ೨೦೧೬ ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರು ನವವ್ ಇಂದರ್ ಅವರ ಸಂಗೀತ ವೀಡಿಯೊ ಅಟ್ ತೇರಾ ಯಾರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ೨೦೧೬ ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರು ಬಿಗ್ ಬಾಸ್ 10 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು,[೪] ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮೊದಲನೇ ರನ್ನರ್ ಅಪ್ ಆಗಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದರು.[೫][೬][೭][೮]
ಅವಳು ಫೋರ್ ಮೋರ್ ಶಾಟ್ಸ್ ಪ್ಲೀಸ್ ಎಂಬ ವೆಬ್ ಸೀರೀಸ್ ನಲ್ಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.[೯] ಉಮಂಗ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಆಗಿ.
ಗುರ್ಬಾನಿ ಚಂಡೀಗಢದಿಂದ ಬಂದವರು. ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಆಕೆಯ ತಾಯಿ ತಾನ್ಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕೆಯ ಅಕ್ಕ ಸನೇಯಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.[೧೦] ಅವರು ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ನ್ಯೂಟ್ರಿಷನ್ ಕಂಪನಿ Myprotein [೧೧] ಮತ್ತು ಫಿಟ್‌ನೆಸ್ ಅಪ್ಲಿಕೇಶನ್ Mobiefit BODY ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.[೧೨][೧೩]
