*26 Oct, 2016: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ, ಉಪ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರ ವೇತನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಗಳ ವೇತನ ಮೂರು ಪಟ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಏಳನೇ ವೇತನ ಆಯೋಗದ ಶಿಫಾರಸುಗಳ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನದಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗಿರುವ ವೇತನ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ನಿವಾರಿಸಲು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ.ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವೇತನ ರೂ.1.5 ಲಕ್ಷ. ಇದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯು ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು ಪಡೆಯುವ ವೇತನಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ (ರೂ.2.5 ಲಕ್ಷ) ಕಡಿಮೆ. ಹೊಸ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಗೆ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ದೊರೆತರೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳ ವೇತನ ರೂ.5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಆಗಲಿದೆ. ಉಪ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಗಳ ವೇತನ ರೂ.3.5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಆಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೂಲಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ. ಸದ್ಯ ಉಪ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವೇತನ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ರೂ.1.25 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮತ್ತು ರೂ.1.10 ಲಕ್ಷ ಆಗಿದೆ.
