Please see [http://www.geonames.de '''this website''']. He has put up the name of every country in all languages, including kannada. Maybe we can use that as a standard reference for country names. Also, when you create an article, could you please try to put it into a subcategory instead of a main category? This is because main categories will contain too many articles and make it difficult to browse. For eg. Poland should be in the subcategory [[:category:ಯುರೋಪ್ ಖಂಡದ ದೇಶಗಳು]] instead of main category [[:category:ದೇಶಗಳು]].

== Re allowable content in Wikipedia ==
I completely understand your concerns Sir. Even I'm distressed by some pointless entries, utterly un-encyclopedic writing styles and other such things. However the following reasons make me tolerant of all these.
# We have very few contributors. I've been working on this wiki for more than a year and a half and we've never had more than 3 regular contributors at a time. There were many months during which I was the only regular contributor. So I'm scared that any attempts to over-enthusiastically rewrite such entries or delete them could scare away people who might potentially turn into regular editors. So I think that some patience with such novice editors might help the wiki in the long run.
# An article in a wiki type encyclopedia is mainly visible only when searched for or is linked in from other articles. So if articles are written about some esoteric topics, then they won't be found by people who don't search for it and/or are led to it by links from other articles! This makes me a lot more tolerant about such articles.
So unless articles are written clearly for vanity or are clear copyright violations, I generally turn a blind eye to them.
However, I'm definitely interested in creating a centralized place to draw firm rules about how the wiki should be organized. We can do that on the talk page of [[ವಿಕಿಪೀಡಿಯ:ಕಾರ್ಯನೀತಿ]]. If you can start a discussion thread there with your ideas, I'll follow it up and hopefully others will join in too.... :::Regarding creating links to sections, just use the following format: <code>page name#section name</code>. For eg., if on the page [[ಆನೆ]] you want to create a link to section "ವಿಕಾಸ", you can type in <code><nowiki>[[ಆನೆ#ವಿಕಾಸ|link word]]</nowiki></code>. The link shows up like this - [[ಆನೆ#ವಿಕಾಸ|link word]]. I don't know how to create a button for navigating to top of page though.
:::As regards a collaboration, if your interest is in nature, then I have a suggestion. We have used the {{tl|taxobox}} before in your articles like [[ಆನೆ]]. However, I don't know the kannada equivalents of [[:en:biological classification|biological classification]] terms like [[:en:Order (biology)|Order]], [[:en:Class (biology)|Class]], etc. We could write articles regarding these for starters and then work through the various kingdoms, phyla, classes and orders. == Incorrect rendering in Firefox ==
I am very surprised that Firefox is showing such problems. I am assuming that you are using Firefox 3. One problem might be the font settings. From the menu bar go to Tools --> Options. There, under the "Content" tab, there should be a section Fonts and Colors. The default font should preferably be set to "Arial Unicode MS". Try this and let me know if it works. == Elementbox templates ==
Dear Sir,<br/>
I have noticed that you are adding elementbox templates to nearly all the element articles. I just wanted to bring to your notice that these templates are set up in a slightly different manner. They are supposed to go into their own subpages under the ಮೂಲಧಾತು template. See [[ತಾಮ್ರ]] for eg. The template is created in a separate page called {{tl|ಮೂಲಧಾತು/ತಾಮ್ರ}}. This is to reduce the clutter on the main article page and to allow for easy categorization of these subtemplates. I hope you will be able to use this set up for any new element boxes you add. <br/>
