'''ಮಾಪಣ್ಣ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ್ ಖರ್ಗೆ''' (ಜನನ 21 ಜುಲೈ 1942) ಒಬ್ಬ [[ಭಾರತೀಯ]] ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, 16 ನೇ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ [[ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್|ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ]] ನಾಯಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರು [[ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ|ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ]] ಮಾಜಿ [[ರೈಲು|ರೈಲ್ವೆ]] ಸಚಿವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಚಿವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಖರ್ಗೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು 2009 ರಿಂದ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನ ಗುಲ್ಬರ್ಗಾ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಸದಸ್ಯ. ಅವರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಹಿರಿಯ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿ ಮತ್ತು 2014 ಸಾರ್ವತ್ರಿಕ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವ ಮೊದಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಶಾಸನಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ಅವರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.ಅಸೆಂಬ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 9 ಅನುಕ್ರಮ ಬಾರಿ (1972, 1979, 1983, 1985, 1989, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2008, 2009) ಮತ್ತು ಗುಲ್ಬರ್ಗಾದಿಂದ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆದ್ದ ಸತತ 10 ಬಾರಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
