Deutsch: Fresko vor und nach der Restaurierung. Gemalt 1425 (fertiggestellt 1428), verändert 1680, restauriert in den 1980er Jahren. Die Feigenblätter wurden drei Jahrhunderte nach der Fertigstellung des Freskos hinzugefügt, wahrscheinlich auf Wunsch von Cosimo III. de' Medici, der die Nacktheit als „abstoßend“ empfand. Bei der Restaurierung in den 1980er Jahren wurden die Feigenblätter sowie die im Laufe der Jahrhunderte abgelagerten Schmutzschichten entfernt, um den ursprünglichen Zustand des Freskos wiederherzustellen. The fig leaves were added three centuries after the original fresco was painted, probably at the request of Cosimo III de' Medici in the late 17th century, who saw nudity as “disgusting”. During restoration in the 1980s the fig leaves were removed along with centuries of grime to restore the fresco to its original condition. Français : Fresco avant et après sa restauration.
